Don't Lie to Me

He called and we came up to a point in our conversation where i told him his necklace was lost somewhere in my room and i hadn't had a chance to throw it away yet. He said that I should keep it and I said no, give me one good reason why I should and i'll think about it. And so he said "I still love you."

While I know the truth now (I asked him about that too) and understand why he broke up with me I cannot bring myself to trust him at the moment (understandably) but he didn't trust me enough to tell me the truth.
